Demon Vs God

 

It was the festive night I was sitting on a bench gazing at the moon, which had changed color. From white to blue. Unusual, but not spectacular.  Was this scary? No, it wasn't.  It was a festive time in India, and In the distance, beyond the mountain, were rumors of demon spread. Everyone knew about them. But nobody knew what they looked like?. Hindus and Hindu mythology always picturized them as ugly looking with a huge body and were greedy to extort the kingdoms. Demons were the villain of heroic dramas. Sadly, the myths were true. They were ready to fight the king to death. I don't know - if they were good or bad. All I know they did had a negative impact. Perhaps they were terrible, to be honest. If these demons were not so strong and powerful, you would have been able to imagine them as innocent creatures. We would not have killed them in the name of moving on. Also, they probably had hearts. And they probably could have lived with us.

Both Mahabharata and Ramayana had victory over evil, killing the demon, but stories had repercussions.

In Mahabharata, the" Pandavs" winners lost their kids in war; similarly, in Ramayana, the king had to leave his wife (Sita). We say these stories do not have a lesson, but they contain messages about whether good or evil becomes a virtue in the long run. (Krishna became one of the godly figures after he killed Kansa & Rama by killing Ravana).

Well, we spoke about demons and gods with mythology, but did they exist in medieval times?  Well. Partially yes.

If we listen to the story of Padmavati, a queen (the goddess) killed herself in sati of her husband Ratan Sen, who was captured and imprisoned by Alauddin Khalji (the demon ) (The Mughal from Delhi who seized the kingdom of Chittor). But from a person's point of view, it was a war between

two kingdoms. The rumors also said that khalji wanted the queen and as he had an erotic feeling towards her. However, I think the battle was between a demon and a queen/goddess. 

In our modern days, the person who is called as evil has not necessarily done anything wrong to us, our experiences with that person may have led us to make a judgment call about his or her qualities. We assume to know more than we do and think what is better for others without bothering to ask before making a judgment.

Evil always fights because Good can't be right without sin. Good always runs away when it faces its opposite and never keep fighting till the end. Good hides and avoids it fights.

But is it good? Good?

Is evil an evil?

Quite a confusion, right?

Is Ambiguity a situation?

Yes, yes.

Evil is always wrong. It still wants something that is not good.

Our confusion could lead us to ignore this situation.

Not our actions, but our inability to think makes us incompetent. Our thinking is not wise. Our assumption is filled with arrogance and hate. We are never ready to accept the fact, and we always judge the person because we don't know him or her. We assume that we are not wrong.

Why be good if you can't defeat your enemy.

Being right is always the same.

Be good, be reasonable.

Be sensible.

Be positive.
